Trauma Does Not Define
a Child’s Future

Even in vulnerable environments, high-stress situations,
and complex medical conditions, our model strengthens
systems of care and creates lasting, meaningful outcomes.

We apply a holistic, neuroscience-based
approach that integrates nervous
system regulation and heart–brain coherence
to support sustainable healing in children and caregivers.

Who we are

About Us

The One Mind One Heart Kids Project is a transformational initiative that supports both children and their caregivers—especially in vulnerable environments—through trauma-informed regulation programs grounded in neuroscience, neuroplasticity, and heart-brain coherence.

Mission

Empower. Heal. Transform.
We support professionals, caregivers, and communities in vulnerable environments through programs grounded in neuroscience and trauma-informed care.
We provide tools for self-regulation, mental rehearsal, and emotional coherence that strengthen resilience and the holistic well-being of every child.

Vision

A future where every child can thrive
We envision a world where all children, regardless of their history or context, have access to scientific tools that allow them to heal, self-regulate, and reach their full potential.
Our goal is to transform communities, creating safe, conscious, and resilient environments.

Our Story:

How This Project Began

The One Mind One Heart project by Talita Cumi CR was not born from a carefully designed strategy. It emerged from something far more powerful: witnessing human transformation in real time. For years, the medical team at events led by Dr. Joe Dispenza worked closely with families facing profound challenges—parents searching for answers and children on the spectrum, with complex medical conditions or emotional difficulties. In every story, there was a common thread: it wasn’t just the need to heal… it was the need for hope.

Then something happened that changed everything. In collaboration with the Give to Give Foundation, we were invited to support an orphanage in Cancún—a place that had become home to children who survived human trafficking and deep trauma. It was there that we understood something essential: these children didn’t just need a safe space—they needed something deeper, more transformative. They needed tools to rebuild themselves from within, to learn how to regulate their nervous system, to feel safe in their own bodies again, and to begin to believe—perhaps for the first time—that their past did not define their future.

Some time later, a group of these children attended a healing event at the Barceló Cancún. What we witnessed there was not subtle—it was deeply human and transformative. Children who barely spoke began, little by little, to engage. Eyes that once avoided contact started to light up. Shy smiles gradually opened into genuine expressions of joy. At first, the changes were small, but over time they became meaningful progress. Then something even more powerful happened: the caregivers began to practice as well. When the adults changed, something in the entire environment began to shift. The children didn’t just continue their process… they deepened it.

Over time, we came to understand a truth that changed how we see everything: many of those caregivers were also survivors of trauma. As they began to heal, it didn’t just transform their individual well-being—it changed the energy of the entire space. What started as a single intervention expanded organically into a shared vision. A community united by compassion. Volunteers from different parts of the world joining in, bringing their time, presence, and heart. The transformation didn’t happen overnight… but it happened.

Today, many of these children are living proof of something profoundly powerful: adversity does not define identity. When there is opportunity, a safe environment, and the right tools, something new can emerge—something stronger than the past, something greater than the wound: a new possibility.

One mind. One heart. And the courage to begin again.
