Alejandra Cordero
I was born in Valladolid, Yucatán, and grew up in Cancún, Quintana Roo. My personal story has been shaped by challenges from a very early age—experiences that led me to discover in art a space for expression, healing, and strength.
Self-taught, I began painting more than 30 years ago, transforming emotions into works that reflect my story and personal growth. Although I studied accounting, art has always been my true language.
In 2019, after the passing of my father, I made the decision to live with purpose and follow the path that truly resonated with me. In 2021, I arrived at the CAT children’s home, where I found my mission: to support children and young people through art.
Today, I lead emotional awareness workshops and have trained in art therapy, using painting as a tool to foster resilience, emotional well-being, and personal transformation.
My artistic work has expanded into exhibitions, where each piece represents an emotion transformed.
